Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for our Production Software portfolio. This remote role requires candidates to reside in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia, or Kentucky. Hexagon’s Production Software solutions support manufacturers with advanced CAM, CNC simulation, and shop floor connectivity tools. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition, expanding existing accounts, and executing strategic growth initiatives within Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia, or Kentucky. You will sell Hexagon’s Production Software solutions—including EDGECAM, WORKNC, NCSIMUL, and other digital machining technologies—by engaging with manufacturing leaders, identifying customer needs, and delivering compelling value propositions.
Job Responsibilities- Own and drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close within the assigned region.
- Identify customer pain points and map them to Hexagon’s production software solutions.
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through strategic outreach and territory planning.
- Deliver product demonstrations with support from technical engineers.
- Develop proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals that meet or exceed quarterly targets.
- Collaborate with customer success and application engineering teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate pipeline updates and forecasting in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Represent Hexagon at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
- Provide voice‑of‑customer feedback to product and marketing teams to support continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B software or capital equipment sales, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Deep understanding of machining, CAM software, CNC workflows, or digital production systems.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas in a regional role.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Must reside in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia, or Kentucky and be willing to travel regionally up to 40%.
- This is a remote role with travel across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia, or Kentucky.
- Regular virtual meetings and frequent travel to customer sites, trade shows, and team meetings.
- Frequent use of laptops, software tools, and online conferencing platforms.
- Prolonged periods of screen use and professional communication via email, phone, and video.
- Occasional lifting of demonstration equipment or trade materials up to 25 pounds.
- Requires a reliable home office setup with strong internet connectivity.
