Position: Solar Sales Professional (Remote) — Florida Focus

Role

Summary:

This is a remote, flexible, 1099 independent contractor opportunity focused on candidates located in Florida. After onboarding, you will choose (or be guided into) one of two tracks.

Tracks
  • Dedicated Solar Professional (DSP)
  • You conduct solar consultations and drive deals through the sales process to completed installs.
  • Solar Link supports sales across 20+ states through its network and partner infrastructure.
  • Solar Referral Partner (SRP)
  • You generate homeowner interest and book qualified appointments for DSPs. Your referrals can convert into installs, creating ongoing income potential over time.

What You Will Do (By Track) – Track 1:
Dedicated Solar Professional (DSP)

  • You Are The Closer And Consultant. You Will
  • Run solar consultations/presentations with homeowners (typically scheduled appointments)
  • Follow up professionally and move prospects through the process
  • Maintain clean pipeline activity and communication inside Solar Link’s systems
  • Coordinate with internal support and installation partners to keep deals progressing
  • Primary outcome you’re measured on:
    Completed installs
  • This is the metric that drives payout and long-term scalability.
  • Track 2:
    Solar Referral Partner (SRP)

  • You Are The Connector And Relationship Builder. You Will
  • Source homeowner interest through your network, partnerships, community presence, or organic outreach
  • Book qualified appointments for solar consultations with DSPs
  • Maintain professional handoff notes and basic tracking for your referral flow
  • Primary outcome you’re measured on:
    Qualified appointments booked
  • Secondary indicator over time: conversion/installs from your referrals (a proxy for referral quality and buying intent).
  • What You Do Not Have to Do

    No door knocking required
    No cold calling required

    No upfront cost to start (you must have a phone and reliable internet)

    Training, Coaching, and Support

    This opportunity is designed for both entry-level and experienced candidates:

    • Full training provided with a structured onboarding path
    • Ongoing coaching and performance support once active
    • Experienced sales/solar professionals may fast-track based on prior results
    • No license required to start; where licensing is applicable, Solar Link helps you navigate it after training
    Compensation (Uncapped, Performance-Based)
    • Dedicated Solar Professional (DSP)
    • Commission-based payouts tied to completed installs
    • Uncapped earning potential driven by volume, conversion, and consistency
    • The “per-install” commission varies by deal structure and market; many reps focus on building repeatable monthly production rather than one-off wins
    • Solar Referral Partner (SRP)
    • Referral payouts tied to install completions from your booked appointments
    • Ability to scale by building partnerships and improving referral quality
    • Potential for overrides based on volume/structure in the referral ecosystem

    Important:
    This is a 1099, performance-based role. Earnings vary by effort, consistency, conversion rates, and market conditions. No earnings are guaranteed.

    Minimum Requirements
    • Must be based in the United States
    • Must be 18 years or older
    • Must speak English
    • Must have consistent internet access (and a phone)
