The Sales Specialist role is part of the Digital Pathology team, responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive rapid revenue growth and market share expansion within the U.S. territory covering Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas.
This position reports to the Senior Regional Sales Manager and is eligible for a fully remote work arrangement from home.
Responsibilities- Achieve annual product sales goals for the territory while coordinating with the assigned local team.
- Maintain an accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in Salesforce (SFDC) with coaching as needed.
- Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through sales support, product demos, installs and training in collaboration with managers or mentors.
- Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies.
- Develop expertise on products and tools such as DBS, LBS, Power BI, Showpad, and Territory Business Reviews.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant sales experience (or equivalent).
- Proven time‑management skills.
- Proven contract negotiation and high‑level selling experience, or experience in a matrixed environment.
- Experience with or other CRM software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to travel 50‑75%, mostly within the territory.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 15 lbs. and perform duties that require walking, sitting, standing, using hand to finger, handling or feeling objects, reaching, balancing, stooping, bending, talking and hearing.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Position requires car travel and flying to airports with possible long wait times.
- Excellent customer relations and service skills, goal oriented, results driven.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
Annual salary range: $118,000 – $133,000 (in good faith at time of posting; may be modified in the future).
This role is also eligible for bonus and incentive pay. Comprehensive benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, vision insurance and a 401(k) plan for eligible employees.
