Job Description:

As a Sales Representative for United Road, you wear many hats: problem solver, customer contact, expectation manager, customer hero, relationship builder and logistics black belt. Each day will present new opportunities to make quick decisions and build your book of business. You are the one and only as far as our customers are concerned and it’s your job to ensure they have a positive experience.

A Sales Representative has the ability to determine his or her future. Due diligence and exemplary work ethic will result in high commission checks and return business.

• Develops and maintains business relationships by calling on provided leads as well as generate your own in an assigned territory. Smile and dial
• Effectively communicate United Road’s value-add to prospective and returning customers.
• Negotiate with shippers and carriers utilizing our commitment to under promise and over deliver.
• Ensure daily shipments run smoothly so customers are satisfied.

• Accurate and thorough utilization of Sales Force CRM software.

• College degree preferred, but not required.
• Ability to multitask. Success in this position requires attention to multiple screens, email and phone calls.
• Outgoing and driven personality that is willing to work in a team environment.
• All-star work ethic, enthusiasm, and high energy. Fresh coffee is always brewing
• Basic computer skills.
• We prefer sales experience but personality and determination goes a long way.
