About The Role

This role will be responsible for revenue generation and business development. You will be joining Mento at an exciting inflection point as we continue to validate meaningful traction in the mid-market and enterprise.

What You'll Do
  • Pipeline Management
    :
    Your #1 responsibility is building and managing a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
  • Deal Execution
    :
    Meticulously manage the sales process from qualification to close.
  • Foster community within the HR space
    : establish yourself in the HR community by creating lasting relationships, attending and organizing events, and creating value for others.
  • Attend and host events
    : connect with prospects via dinners, conferences, happy hours, virtual events, and more.
  • Pipeline generation
    : the best sellers are always doing pipegen!
  • Represent our Brand
    :
    Create outstanding first impressions as prospects' initial point of contact with Mento.
  • Contribute to sales strategy
    : evolve our sales playbook and contribute to Mento's GTM strategy.
  • Cross-functional work
    : collaborate daily/weekly with marketing, product, coaching, and other teammates at Mento.
  • Think outside the box
    : get creative! Test new techniques, explore new interesting opportunities, experiment with new practices. We are not getting better if we are not pushing ourselves.
Who We Are Looking For
  • You are based in the San Francisco Bay Area and have a strong network there
  • You have 2+ years experience as an account executive
  • You are a high performer with a track record of quota attainment
  • You are detail-oriented and can run a tight sales process
  • You are results driven and relentless about hitting your numbers
  • You are highly ambitious and set big goals for yourself
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment
  • You have experience with a modern sales tech stack (AI tools, Hubspot, Sales Nav, Clay, Notion, Slack, etc.)
  • You believe in and have experienced the power of coaching and mentorship
