Account Consultant, Global IP Network
The Account Consultant (AC) is part of the Global IP Network (GIN) Business Unit and is responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly sales quotas from the sale of high‑bandwidth IP transit services and associated value‑added services (including security services) to Internet‑centric companies, both domestically and internationally, while minimizing customer churn and price erosion through active account management of an assigned customer base.
This is a hybrid role requiring on‑site work 3× per week at the Redmond, WA office. The AC will travel as needed and work flexible hours outside the standard 8 am‑5 pm US time zones.
Responsibilities- Manage a list of assigned existing accounts.
- Develop account management and marketing plans consistent with position objectives.
- Track, manage, and report ongoing activity relative to plan.
- Ensure customer retention of assigned accounts.
- Identify competitive pricing solutions for customers.
- Assist with new product rollout and make sales presentations on new product lines to customers.
- Perform various tasks as required or assigned.
- Travel as needed.
- Maintain flexibility to perform duties outside standard 8 am‑5 pm US time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of telecommunications sales, high‑tech sales or related experience.
- Proven track record of success in managing a module of accounts in a high‑tech (or related) field.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce (SFDC) or similar CRM.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to work successfully in a multi‑tasked, fast‑paced environment with commitments to deadlines.
- Self‑motivated with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Hybrid – a blend of remote working and on‑site (3× per week) at the Redmond, WA office.
Compensation & BenefitsTarget Base Salary: $50,000–$63,000 (based on experience) plus variable commissions. NTT offers medical, dental, vision, life and supplemental life insurance, spouse and child life insurance, STD, LTD, Flex Spending Accounts and a 401(k) retirement plan.
