- Develop territory business plans and support Sales Management in maximizing impact of sales and marketing tactics.
- Maintain and increase sales within designated territory by influencing prescribing habits of targeted audience.
- Strategically identify and develop relationships with non-prescribing health care providers that influence decision making in accounts (C suite personnel, pharmacy personnel, medical assistants, office managers, etc.).
- Sell in various sites of care within territory including clinics and health systems (specialty pharmacies, in patient pharmacies, infusion centers, specialty clinics, etc.).
- Conduct effective and compliant mixing and administration demonstrations to appropriate customers.
- Demonstrate thorough on-label knowledge of products and effectively communicate clinical, technical, therapeutic, disease state and product information to customers.
- Complete routine reports, prepare annual business plans, conduct quarterly analysis of territory performance vs. plan, and comply with industry, regulatory and company guidelines.
- Attend and represent the Company at internal meetings and external trade shows, community events, etc.
- Manage usage and inventory of promotional items and promotional budget effectively and in a compliant manner.
- Abide by Administrative Expectations (submit expense reports, enter sales calls in CRM, maintain company car, etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned, including reporting Adverse Events and Technical Complaints per SOP.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, business or related field.
- Consistent and proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- 5+ years of independent pharmaceutical or B2B sales experience, pediatric endocrinology, rare disease or buy‑and‑bill preferred.
- Reside within the territory and willingness to cover the entire assigned geographical sales space.
- Pharmacy sales experience preferred (specialty pharmacy, health system based pharmacy, etc.).
- Clinical experience helpful.
- High motivation, excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, negotiation and selling skills.
- Strong analytical skills and proven strategic thinker.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and execute effective business plans for assigned territory.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, CRM systems and virtual platforms.
