Market Development Manager

Radiometer, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Market Development Manager to nurture and grow current customer relationships while cultivating new accounts across Veterinary, Medical Research and Education (MRE), and Industry markets. The role focuses on driving year‑over‑year install base and core growth within an assigned territory, using value‑based selling and Danaher’s continuous improvement system to deliver impact in patient diagnostics.

• Create a territory plan to win competitive conversions and achieve annual revenue targets.
• Utilize the CRM system to maintain an accurate sales funnel, customer contacts, activities and forecasts.
• Introduce new business to Radiometer product lines while negotiating favorable pricing and contract terms.
• Leverage installed base and relationships across Radiometer and other Danaher companies to improve visibility, customer intimacy and win rates.
• Plan, organize and execute sales calls; lead key accounts throughout the sales cycle.
• Focus on Veterinary market through lead generation, cold calling, and relationship development.
• Support MRE and Industry opportunities primarily via unsolicited customer inquiries.

• Bachelor’s degree in Scientific/Business or related field.
• 5+ years sales experience in medical diagnostics, veterinary diagnostics, medical device or academia/research, including capital equipment sales.
• Strong understanding of Bio Process, therapeutic drug development, veterinary and agriculture markets is a plus.
• Proficiency with business management systems, Microsoft Office, database, and CRM.

• Estimated travel 50‑70% of the time, including some overnight trips across a 10‑15‑state territory and 10% outside the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs and meet other physical requirements.

• Distribution or manufacturer sales background.

Salary range: $95,000 – $100,000, with eligibility for commissions, bonuses, and incentive pay. Radiometer offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k). This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement with flexible arrangements for eligible roles.
