As a member of Smartness’ sales team for the Italian market, you will be part of a cohesive team whose goal is to make us the No. 1 hospitality software in the region. You will participate in both in-person and remote training sessions and support the sales team in expanding Smartness in the Italian market through the following activities:
- Sales negotiation – manage a busy schedule of online and in-person appointments with potential prospects, articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, and create enthusiasm among prospects.
- Participation in trade fairs and events – attend 1-2 trade fairs per year and organize on‑site meetings with customers.
- Business development – proactively search for new business opportunities through cold calling and cold emailing.
- Data analysis and regular reviews – hone analytical skills by critically reviewing the pipeline using advanced sales tools.
- Reaching the monthly target – achieve and exceed the ARR target with an incentivizing bonus plan.
- Italian as a mother tongue.
- Good English skills (B2 level) to interact with international colleagues.
- Team player with a winning mentality – consistently exceed 100% of the monthly quota and support colleagues.
- Data‑driven thinking – skilled at analyzing and interpreting data and making decisions based on quantitative evidence.
- Desire to learn – willing to receive coaching and read sales‑skills books; training can be in‑person or remote.
- Experience in the role – at least 3–5 years in a sales team in SaaS, software, or services, achieving sales targets.
- Organization – attention to detail, meticulous agenda planning, and timely CRM updates.
- Productivity – strong motivation to sell into the SME market and manage short, intense sales cycles.
- Work in a small, top‑performing team that moves extremely fast and values your contribution.
