Overview

The Forehand Agency seeks a remote Sales Consultant responsible for proactive outbound outreach, qualifying prospects, and managing the sales pipeline. This role emphasizes relationship building, consistent activity, and measurable results within a small, collaborative team. Must hold, or be able to obtain and maintain, a state life and health insurance license.

Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $/yr

Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach using a consultative sales approach.
  • Develop and communicate clear product value propositions to prospects and decision-makers.
  • Create and execute targeted outbound strategies for assigned accounts to generate qualified opportunities.
  • Promptly follow up on inbound leads, qualify opportunities, and progress prospects through the sales cycle.
  • Close sales or hand off deals to appropriate internal teams when required.
  • Accurately record all interactions, outcomes, and pipeline activity in the CRM to maintain forecast visibility.
  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust outreach to improve conversion and productivity.
  • Collaborate with teammates and management to refine messaging, processes, and outreach tactics.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college students, recent graduates, interns, and career changers encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum age 18.
  • Must hold, or be able to obtain and maintain, a state life and health insurance license.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented with the ability to sustain high activity levels.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills and a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Comfortable with outbound telephone outreach and basic PC tasks; able to quickly learn CRM and sales productivity tools.
  • Analytical aptitude for using performance data to inform outreach and optimize results.
Performance expectations
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and conversion targets.
  • Maintain accurate, timely CRM records to support forecasting and territory management.
  • Demonstrate responsiveness to coaching and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and readiness for increased responsibility.
