This role is a remote position with an ideal base location in New York City or the surrounding boroughs.

What The Role Is:
The Market Sales Associate (On-Premise) for CNI Brands will execute strategic brand initiatives with our distributor, Empire. Focusing in the On-Premise channel – throughout the New York City area.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who brings energy, initiative, and drives the work. The Market Sales Associate (On-Premise) must show an understanding and commitment to a professional work ethic in the context of this job opportunity.
Position Overview:
This position focuses on driving brand distribution and unlocking volume opportunities through strategic on-premise initiatives. The Market Sales Associate will build and execute programs that align with brand goals and increase market penetration, ensuring CNI’s brands are actively present in high-volume and influential accounts throughout the NYC metro area.
How Will You Spend Your Time:
· Manage & execute CNI objectives, sales planning and priorities with the distributor and hold our distributor accountable for results
· Bring a professional approach and appreciation for a structured sales process. Adapt to coaching and change
· Provide distributor salespeople with tools and knowledge necessary to successfully execute CNI brand strategies and sales priorities
· Drive and reinforce CNI’s sales, distribution, and placement standards at training events and retail calls, with every stakeholder
· Measure, report, and review program results with distributor managers and CNI’s Director of Sales, East
· Cultivate key relationships with impact performers inside the distributor at all levels
· Strategically and systematically manage the territory for maximum coverage results, with frequent and timely contacts with key customers, accounts of influence, and remote distributor personnel
· Manage compliance with national accounts mandates and opportunities passed along from the CNI National Account Team
· Submit monthly market reports to the Director of Sales, US East
· Bring initiative and proactivity to continue learning and development. Utilize internal resources and coaching in addition to self-study and inquiry.
What We Are Looking For:
· Experience in wine & spirits industry preferred, with a focus in retail/on-premise sales
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
· Familiarity with distributor systems and account-level execution
· Professionalism, accountability, and a self-starter mentality
· Availability for evening or weekend tastings/events as needed
· Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office preferred
Valued But Not Required Skills and Experience
- Emphasis in Management and/or Marketing
- Advanced computer proficiency— Vermont Information Processing (iDIG/KARMA) or similar CRM
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to perform a range of physical activities. The candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently. The role involves standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods. The candidate should have good manual dexterity and the ability to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.

Salary Range: $75,000 to $90,000 depending on experience
