Business Development Manager – Tapes & Adhesives RoleThis exciting position will be selling my clients range of adhesives and construction tapes used across a wide variety of applications across the Construction. The position is predominantly OEM-led, with responsibility for managing approximately 20 existing accounts, while also identifying and developing new business opportunities. Key market sectors include insulation and glazing, with an established customer base that includes leading manufacturers and installers within these areas.
The role is home-based, covering the UK, and will involve regular travel and overnight stays.
The business is a well-established UK manufacturer and supplier of specialist tapes, surface protection and adhesive solutions, serving construction, manufacturing, industrial and trade markets. They are recognised for their technical expertise, quality-driven approach, and long-term customer relationships.
CandidateI am seeking a capable and commercially minded Area Sales Manager with experience in the construction sector and a solid understanding of how products are specified, sold and used on site.
Candidates are likely to come from backgrounds such as:
- Insulation or building envelope products
- Adhesives, technical tapes or sealants
- Glazing or related construction products
Experience selling into OEM environments be beneficial but is not essential. A candidate with an insulation-focused sales background would naturally understand how these products are applied in practice. This opportunity would suit an ambitious, developing sales professional who is looking to grow with a business and take ownership of a UK-wide territory. It is all about attitude, drive and commercial capability.
