Regional Vice President (Hybrid Wholesaler)
Join Equitable as a Regional Vice President (Hybrid Wholesaler) on our Individual Retirement team in the RIA channel. This role focuses on driving growth of Annuity Sales within your assigned region and involves a mix of remote work and up to 40% travel.
Key Job Responsibilities- Develop and manage relationships with existing clients.
- Penetrate all potential clients within existing client accounts.
- Assess clients' needs to promote new products.
- Educate and train clients on Annuity products.
- Develop new RIA relationships and manage territory.
- Follow up on Internal Sales Desk leads.
- Maintain sales goals; identify, create, and implement annuity sales opportunities.
- Communicate with Head of RIA sales on an ongoing basis.
- Travel within sales territory as needed (up to 40%).
Base salary: $60,000 annually. Eligible for variable compensation.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of RIA sales experience.
- 2+ years experience in sales of Variable Annuities.
- FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 Licenses.
- Annuity, Life and Health Insurance License.
- Experience selling annuities to RIA’s and fee‑based advisors.
- CLU, ChFC and/or CFP.
- Direct Sales Experience.
- Skilled communicator who simplifies complex details to varied audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
- Ability to develop strategies and business plans to exceed business objectives.
- Excellent organizational skills, prioritization, and multi‑tasking.
- Communicating Complex Concepts – effective presentation tools and simplification techniques.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration – promote culture of continuous improvement.
- Financial Planning Instruments – knowledge of products, market segments.
- Knowledge of Product Line – develop product line processes.
- Planning and Organizing – systematic task and resource management.
- Relationship Building – create positive, trusting relationships.
United States – Remote (primary). Additional potential locations include Omaha, Portland, Seattle, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Madison, Chicago, Lincoln, Tacoma, and related cities.
