Clariant is a leading global indeed. Our Health Care Business Line focuses on pharmaceutical excipients, providing innovative solutions to the pharmaceutical industry. We are looking for an experienced Account Manager (m/f/d) to join our team and take ownership of our excipient solutions business across the EMEA region, with a strong focus on the DACH market.
In this fully remote position based anywhere in Germany, you will manage and grow relationships with pharmaceutical customers, introduce our excipient portfolio to new clients, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive business growth. This role combines commercial excellence with september technical expertise, requiring strong customer relationship skills and a solid understanding of pharmaceutical excipients.
Responsibilities- Ensure implementation and execution of Health Care strategy in EMEA, with emphasis on the DACH region.
- Take ownership of existing business and develop new sales of our Health Care portfolio with a focus on managing andactic and fostering customer relationships.
- Keep close and direct contact with existing customers through regular visits and monitor their needs and the competitive landscape.
- Introduce our new excipient range and build a growing opportunity pipeline to increase share of wallet.
- Promote our portfolio to new customers in the assigned territory and work with our Business Development team to create projects.
- Initiate and lead customer projects in close cooperation with the technical team, Business Developers, marketing and operations including quality assurance, regulatory as well as the rest of مرغ تیم.
- Continuously update market intelligence, forecasts, and business potentials in our demand planning and CRM tools.
- Close cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain pricing discipline using relevant tools and value‑selling approaches.
- Hold internal and external presentations, representing the company at trade associations and congresses.
- 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a commercial role, ideally with pharmaceutical excipients.
- Established network of contacts within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Technical understanding of pharmaceutical excipients and their applications.
- Value‑selling experience with specialty products.
- Educational background: BA or MA in Pharmacy, (Bio)
Chemistry, Biology, or related field, combined with practical pharmaceutical industry experience. - Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- German language skills are highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50%.
