Advice Pay is a billing and payment processing platform that enables financial advisors to shift their focus toward giving advice to people still building wealth, instead of only those who already have it. Historically, financial planning advice was only available to the affluent, who could afford to pay a financial advisor’s fees directly from their portfolios. We set out to change that, as we believe personal financial planning advice should be available to all.
In doing so, we’ve become the very first and only technology solution created specifically for fee‑for‑service financial planning. We are headquartered in Bozeman, Montana (and recently re‑opened our office with safety protocols in place, though most of our team continues to work from home due to COVID‑19). Our sister company, XY Planning Network, was nationally recognized as one of The 346 Best Places to Work in 2019 by Inc.
magazine and by the 2019 Investment News Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion Awards. And since we work in the same office and have the same awesome benefits and core values, we like to say “we basically won too!” You’ll love working here if you value - and want to contribute to - a positive, inclusive, innovative, and “Get Sh
* t Done” culture where teammates help one another succeed and are committed to doing the right thing. If you’re up for the challenge of disrupting an industry, join us!

JOB TITLEBusiness Development Coordinator
JOB DESCRIPTIONAs Advice Pay’s Business Development Coordinator, you’ll boost productivity and speed up our sales cycle by streamlining operations and procedures throughout the Sales team. This is a part‑time position on our Sales team reporting directly to our Head of Sales. You’re a great fit for this role if you have a love of structure and project management – trusted systems are the track that keeps this train rolling and you’re all aboard when it comes to the management and implementation of those systems!
We’re excited about you because you're a real team player (and a standout one at that). You love supporting teams behind the scenes, ensuring they can focus on doing the work they do best – in this case selling and acquiring new business. When it comes to optimizing sales efforts, you’ll help keep the train on the tracks, all the way from initial outreach to handing off the sale to our Customer Success team.
& RESPONSIBILITIES
- Faithfully document sales processes, meetings, shadow calls, and take notes so that everyone on the Sales team is set up to succeed!
- Maintain all the nuts and bolts of sales operations on a daily basis – including, but not limited to: researching prospects and sales qualified leads, scheduling calls/meetings, initiating post‑meeting follow‑ups, and meeting documentation.
- Write, build, and maintain sales sequences in our CRM (Hub Spot).
- Support the Enterprise Sales team's largest contracts in the pipeline by scheduling meetings and organizing meeting materials so the Sales Team Members are ready to “wow” on those calls.
- Coordinate conference administrative duties as needed.
- Next‑level administrative and organization skills; responsibilities like maintaining calendars, scheduling and organizing meetings, coordinating events, and managing data genuinely “spark joy.”
- A dedication to detailed work that requires both accuracy and consistency; nothing slips through the cracks on your watch!
- Superpowers in communicating with positivity and precision via the written word; you chase after clarity and typos might be one of your biggest personal pet peeves.
- A passion for systems and processes; they get you so jazzed that you’ll happily offer your constructive criticism to help make them even better.
- Experience with a CRM (such as Hub Spot, Salesforce, or similar) and a knack for learning new software and tools.
- Collaboration is your jam, so you enjoy working alongside others – whether in‑person or remote – to do your great work.
- High sense of personal responsibility + integrity.
- An understanding of and strong alignment with our Core Values.
- Legally authorized to live and work in the United States.
- What would make us drool:
Experience in operations or administration role.
P.S. You may have caught on that we’re looking for a rockstar to join our team. If you’re feeling like you don’t have a platinum record (yet!), don’t let the confidence gap or imposter syndrome get in your way of applying – we would love to hear from your talented self.
