This is a remote position with territory/field-based travel. The territory is the Greater Jersey City area. In this role, you'll focus on building new business relationships with luxury hotels, high-end residential developments, and wellness-driven real estate groups.
Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to their growing territory in Jersey City, NJ. This position is field-based and primarily hunting for new business. The Sales Account Manager (Field Sales) will be responsible for the full sales cycle from prospect to close, building a new territory from the ground up, and calling on targeting decision-makers. The role boasts variety with a key focus on new business development and account management.
Job Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships and manage a large portfolio of products, services and solutions.
- Ensure that local sales, profitability and cash flow targets are achieved.
- Develop business opportunities and exploit market potential.
- Generate leads, profile customers, plan activities and update the CRM.
- Increase customer satisfaction.
- Guarantee adequate market feedback on segment trends.
- Maintain and develop existing relationships and seek new opportunities.
- Manage the market and carry out an appropriate number of customer/prospect visits inline with company sales code.
- At least 3 years’ sales experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar role.
- Degree in Business Administration, Sales or a relevant field.
- Experience in managing complex deals and selling solutions.
- Excellent consulting sales approach and negotiation skills.
- Solid experience with CRM software. Knowledge of Salesforce would be a plus.
- Result‑driven approach.
- Excellent listening, communications and presentation abilities.
- A pass.
Base Salary: $80k + Uncapped Commissions/bonus.
Income expectations with commissions are ~$160k+ in first year
