Company Overview: Our client has 40+ years of experience as one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of state-of-the-art fitness equipment. This is a remote position with territory/field-based travel. The territory is the Greater Jersey City area. In this role, you'll focus on building new business relationships with luxury hotels, high-end residential developments, and wellness-driven real estate groups.

Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to their growing territory in Jersey City, NJ. This position is field-based and primarily hunting for new business. The Sales Account Manager (Field Sales) will be responsible for the full sales cycle from prospect to close, building a new territory from the ground up, and calling on targeting decision-makers. The role boasts variety with a key focus on new business development and account management.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and manage a large portfolio of products, services and solutions.
  • Ensure that local sales, profitability and cash flow targets are achieved.
  • Develop business opportunities and exploit market potential.
  • Generate leads, profile customers, plan activities and update the CRM.
  • Increase customer satisfaction.
  • Guarantee adequate market feedback on segment trends.
  • Maintain and develop existing relationships and seek new opportunities.
  • Manage the market and carry out an appropriate number of customer/prospect visits inline with company sales code.
Requirements/About You
  • At least 3 years’ sales experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar role.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Sales or a relevant field.
  • Experience in managing complex deals and selling solutions.
  • Excellent consulting sales approach and negotiation skills.
  • Solid experience with CRM software. Knowledge of Salesforce would be a plus.
  • Result‑driven approach.
  • Excellent listening, communications and presentation abilities.
  • A pass.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $80k + Uncapped Commissions/bonus.
Income expectations with commissions are ~$160k+ in first year
