As Sales Manager nVent SCHROFF for UK, Ireland and the Nordics, you will be leading the development and implementation of the targeted sales strategy, with the goal of achieving outstanding growth.
In this role you will also:
- Lead, mentor and develop Territory and Key Account sales teams, to ensure required coverage, success in strategic market‑segments and –applications
- Properly address the mix of channels (Direct, Resellers, Key Accounts)
- Ensure the use of CRM (SFDC) to manage sales funnel and sales process
- Lead negotiations and be directly involved into management of key‑accounts and –prospects
- Leverage your own industry network to win new strategic customers
- Contribute to daily sales management activities and regular meetings
- Demonstration of nVent Values
- Cross‑functional collaborate with Field Application Engineers, Product Management, Marketing and Production to align operational efforts to customer needs
- Identify portfolio gaps and interact with Product Management to close these
- Conduct business reviews with the team and channel partners to ensure accuracy of sales forecasts and to achieve business results
- Stay on the pulse of the competitive landscape
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Ideally 10+ years international sales experience in an electronics or industrial market
- Expertise in selling across channels including distributors, integrators/consultants, engineers and end‑users/OEMs
- 5+ years in a leadership position, P&L management experience desirable
- In‑depth knowledge to identify gaps in sales capabilities and implement plans for sustainable success
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership and peers on actions aiming at continuously progress
- Active network in the electrical / electronics industry
- Negotiation and collaboration skills
- You have a proven track record in developing a business.
- The ability to develop and leverage partnerships to drive the strategic plan. Consistently demonstrate alignment with company strategy to drive opportunities.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances and succeed in an ever‑changing business environment.
- Workplace‑related requirements:
- Ability to work from home
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as some meetings with customers would be on‑site
- Valid Driver’s License
