About The Role
Sutton Specialist Risks, a well‑established and leading insurance MGA with a reputation for providing specialist commercial insurance solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and results‑driven Sales Executive to join our team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to drive e‑trade growth, maximise income opportunities from our existing broker relationships and to promote cross‑selling and upselling initiatives across a portfolio of established insurance products.
You’ll work closely with an experienced underwriting team to ensure our broker partners are fully aware of our unique selling points and best pricing options.

Key Responsibilities- Increase the conversion rates on our e‑trade platform by securing policy count and income growth.
- Support and help convert incoming e‑trade enquiries by promoting the right solutions and ensuring brokers understand our market‑leading offering.
- Make outbound telephone calls to insurance brokers who have already approached Sutton Specialist Risks and obtained a quotation via our e‑trade platform.
- Identify and perform cross‑selling and upselling opportunities within the current client base.
- Work collaboratively with underwriters to tailor and position products that meet broker and client needs.
- Monitor trading patterns to identify growth opportunities, inefficiencies, or areas requiring support.
- Work with marketing and operations to develop and execute broker engagement campaigns.
- Capture and maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and broker communications via internal systems.
- Consistently meet or exceed agreed sales targets and performance KPIs.
- Confident and polite telephone manner with strong relationship‑building skills.
- Experience in a sales, trading or business development role.
- Demonstrated ability to cross‑sell, upsell, and spot new opportunities within existing accounts.
- Commercially minded with a strategic, data‑informed approach to sales.
Needs to be self‑motivated and have a resilient approach to sales.
Desirable- Experience with in the insurance industry is an advantage though not essential and existing broker relationships in the UK commercial intermediary market would be highly advantageous.
- Experience with Microsoft product suite and Acturis are desirable.

Working hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with one hour allowed for lunch.
