What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Drive sales with new customers while growing existing revenues in state government markets
  • Navigate complex state procurement processes and manage RFX processes and government contracting requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships with government officials and systems integrators
  • Manage a healthy sales pipeline and achieve consistent quota attainment
  • Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders while demonstrating technical acumen
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 4-5 years direct field sales experience, preferably in government markets
  • Proven track record of overachieving sales quotas
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to reside in the sales territory (GA and FL)
  • Must be able to work from home office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in closing complex, long-cycle enterprise deals valued between $200K and $1M+
  • Knowledge of state priorities, funding mechanisms, and relevant regulations (CJIS, HIPAA, FedRAMP)
  • Familiarity with state MSA terms and contract vehicles applicable to the business
  • Experience with strategic networking in government associations and conferences
