- Navigate complex state procurement processes and manage RFX processes and government contracting requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with government officials and systems integrators
- Manage a healthy sales pipeline and achieve consistent quota attainment
- Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders while demonstrating technical acumen
- Minimum of 4-5 years direct field sales experience, preferably in government markets
- Proven track record of overachieving sales quotas
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to reside in the sales territory (GA and FL)
- Must be able to work from home office
- Experience in closing complex, long-cycle enterprise deals valued between $200K and $1M+
- Knowledge of state priorities, funding mechanisms, and relevant regulations (CJIS, HIPAA, FedRAMP)
- Familiarity with state MSA terms and contract vehicles applicable to the business
- Experience with strategic networking in government associations and conferences
