Reporting to the VP International Sales, the Account Executive is responsible for expanding the Cofense market share in the Southeast Asia regions.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities- Exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals to continue our explosive growth.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers in information security departments across a variety of industries.
- Prospecting, technical presentation and demonstration, pipeline management and a demonstrated ability to close.
- The position will require regular travel, as well as the ability to represent our company at events.
- Development and closure of opportunities for the Software-as-a-Service solution.
- Develop and close opportunities of additional product lines.
- Develop opportunities from initial lead generation to product demonstrations and successful closure.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
Required
- Expertise in managing sales opportunities from prospect to closure
- Ability to provide live and web based demonstrations of the Cofense solution without sales engineer support
- Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills
- Capability to present technical information to a variety of audiences
- Demonstrated ability to forecast and manage information using
- Extensive contacts in the information security field
- Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks to successful completion
- Ability to work in a fast paced, geographically dispersed organization
- Ability to travel a minimum of 50%
- 4 Year Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred
- 4-6 years successful experience in outside sales of information security services or products
- Hands-on experience in providing information security services
- Hands-on experience in social engineering testing and analysis preferred
- Hands-on experience in incident response and computer forensics preferred
- Hands-on experience with gateway mail filtering products preferred
- Experience as a presenter on information security topics at conferences and events preferred
