Position: Sales Specialist - SCBA & Fire, 3M Personal Safety Division (Maryland & Western Pennsylvania)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop sales opportunities targeting specific user segments in the SCBA and fire safety market
  • Provide training and education to authorized distributors on products and sales techniques
  • Represent the employer at trade associations, industry meetings, and conferences
  • Achieve annual sales, marketing, and profit goals through strategic planning and account management
  • Provide technical support to distributors, agents, and key end users within the assigned territory
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Associate’s degree or higher, verified prior to start
  • One (1) year of commercial experience with technical products
  • Five (5) years of sales and/or marketing experience in a relevant environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends as necessary
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, verified prior to start
  • Three (3) years of experience in safety or industrial sales
  • Experience as a manufacturer representative in the U.S. Fire Service Industry
  • Strong interpersonal selling, negotiation, public speaking, and project leadership skills
  • Familiarity with CRM and Microsoft & iOS applications
