Client Development Lead, Industrial and Manufacturing Markets
We are seeking a high-energy ambitious Inside Sales professional with strong outbound calling, emailing, and closing skills having the drive to be rewarded for expanding a customer base within industrial and manufacturing markets. As a Lead Generation Specialist
, you lead all new sales and business development activities leveraging all forms of technology to land new client employers in key strategic market segments across the country. - Leverage wide variety of internal/external databases, AI and social media tools, and existing personal relationships to grow the employer client base for the firm
- Conduct high-volume of daily outbound calls, emails, texting, social media engagement, and comprehensive networking to develop new customer/client relationships
- Collaborate with Technical Recruiters, Research Specialists, and Senior Management team to develop creative ideas and unique approaches to secure interest of target prospects
- Attend relevant industry trade shows and conferences to effectively market the industry-specific recruitment expertise of the firm
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and weekly metrics to build sales pipeline
- Negotiate and close profitable new recruiting contracts

Qualifications include:- 3+ years of inside sales, direct sales, or business development experience, ideally calling on industrial, manufacturing, or commercial customers
- Clear track record of closing new accounts and acquiring new clients/customers
- Advanced cold‑calling, prospecting, and external solicitation skills
- Strong, ambitious, assertive selling style, having a “hunter” sales mentality
- Must enjoy frequent interaction with people, talking on the phone, and developing strong personal relationships with key decision makers
- Existing relationships within industrial, manufacturing, or commercial markets
- Must be creative, innovative, competitive, resilient, flexible, and have a strong will to win
- Must be tech savvy and comfortable leveraging databases, CRM/ATS, AI tools, and social media resources
- Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work from a home office with the willingness to maintain flexible hours
- Must provide own computer, printer/copier/fax, internet connection, and dedicated office phone line
- Must live within 150 miles of Columbus, OH
