- Develop sales opportunities targeting specific user segments in the safety equipment market
- Provide training and education to authorized distributors on product offerings and sales techniques
- Represent the employer at industry meetings, trade associations, and conferences to foster relationships
- Prepare and execute sales proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence
- Provide technical support and market intelligence to enhance product offerings and improve customer satisfaction
- Associate’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- One (1) year of commercial experience with technical products
- Five (5) years of sales and/or marketing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years of experience in safety or industrial sales
- Familiarity with the US Fire Service Industry as a manufacturer representative (direct or agent)
- Strong interpersonal selling, negotiation, public speaking, and project leadership skills
- Experience with CRM and proficiency in Microsoft & iOS applications
