Purpose

The home-based pro rep position focuses on Pro goalies, creating relationships, servicing and selling CCM product to different pro leagues teams (NHL, PWHL, AHL, ECHL, NCAA, USHL, IIHF). The primary purpose of the pro goalie rep is to have pro goalies endorse our latest product line to support retail sales strategy. They are also responsible to meet the company and department targets.

The focus will be on goalies in the Eastern part of US & CAN. This position is expected to report to our Boston office from time to time.

Key Accountabilities

Effectively manage pro goalies in western part of North America (US & CAN).

Responsibilities/Requirements
  • Must have the skills to sell customized goalie gear to professional athletes and equipment managers to hit yearly sales targets and ensure product is delivered on time for customer needs.
  • Ability to work with pro players to get them in the latest products to support retail.
  • Management of territory budgets, i.e. expense account, sample account, and territory allotment.
  • Responsible to have orders time as per deadline dates set by manager.
  • Strong product and customization knowledge required for pro level needs.
  • Responsible for all goalie usage entry for all leagues.
Strategic Planning
  • Support the company direction by finding creative ways of getting pro goalies to use CCM products that drive and support retail sales.
  • Identify top grassroots prospects to enable early engagement, CCM product usage, and foster strong, long-term relationships with the goalies.
Player Relations
  • Ability to create a trusting relationship with players to maximize sales and exposure.
  • Service athletes in locker room. Available when special needs are requested.
  • Attend & support product needs at photoshoots and events with CCM athletes.
  • Build and foster strong long-term relationships with goalies and equipment managers.
Product Knowledge and Support
  • Deep understanding of pro goalie gear, functionality and options.
  • Able to present different products to goalies with its variance.
  • Validate and report on product feedback when asked.
  • Strong understanding of the goalie position, how the gear works and how goalies use it.
  • Strong understanding of the pro goalie landscape & prospects.
Budget / Sales
  • Manage and monitor samples monthly.
  • Manage and monitor T&E monthly.
  • Manage and monitor territory allotment budget.
  • Manage and monitor key account plans & objectives.
Knowledge, Experience, Skills Technical / Professional Skills, Expertise and Qualifications
  • Experience in sales, order taking, processing orders and hitting deadlines.
  • Detail oriented and organized with specs and player codes.
  • Experience in goalie equipment its functionality, the goalie position itself and the pro goalie world.
