Position: Outreach Sales Manager- SMB (Local Hero)

Local Hero is seeking an Outreach Sales Manager‑SMB to accelerate growth by expanding strategic partnerships, developing new business opportunities, and deepening client relationships. The Outreach Sales Manager‑SMB is an individual contributor sales role and plays a critical role in powering sales and recruitment pipelines for major national and international franchise brands in the restaurant industry.

Our ideal Outreach Sales Manager‑SMB can sell from cold to close, nurture a pipeline, and transform our sales motion into results. They can build small‑business relationships and bring the Challenger Sales Model to life. Above all, they have an intrinsic desire to achieve results and want to join an organization that rewards them for it.

Local Hero blends local digital media, dynamic ad creation, self‑serve technology, and full‑service value to create custom campaigns and increase consumer traffic for national brands and local franchisees.

A Day in the Life
  • Own and drive the business development lifecycle from strategy through execution.
  • Champion Local Hero with clients and potential clients leveraging a deep understanding of our value proposition, services, and client success stories.
  • Identify, target, and secure high‑potential accounts, including national brands, franchise systems, and multi‑location businesses.
  • Guide industry‑specific outreach strategies and oversee the development of customized pitch materials.
  • Build strong relationships by tailoring communication to buyer roles, motivations, and objectives.
  • Support leadership in pricing, deal structuring, negotiation, and closing strategic opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, product, and leadership teams to ensure alignment.
  • Analyze pipeline health, deal velocity, conversion rates, and revenue trends to inform forecasting and planning.
  • Present growth insights, opportunity analyses, and performance reporting to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on competitive offerings, market shifts, and vertical‑specific trends.
  • Represent Local Hero at conferences, industry events, and partner meetings.
  • Use CRM tools and dashboards to track, manage, and optimize outreach and conversion activities.
What You Need to Get Onboard
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client partnerships.
  • Proven track record of lead generation, deal closing, and client retention.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%+.

  • Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, startup environment.
  • Tenacious, focused, and hungry.
