Role OverviewAs an Account Manager you’ll own the renewal process and lead all expansion efforts—upsells, cross‑sells, and client growth—to keep clients renewing, expanding, and advocating for Mongoose.
What You’ll Do- Drive Renewals & Expansion: Consistently meet or exceed renewal and expansion quotas, build strategic retention plans, and proactively address risks before they impact renewal time.
- Build Pipeline & Grow Accounts: Own upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, introduce Mongoose to new departments and teams, and expand our footprint within schools.
- Strategic Partnership: Build rock‑solid relationships through quarterly reviews, deep client goal understanding, and partnership with Client Success Manager to deliver value and adoption.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with Marketing and Leadership to share new offerings, drive adoption, and bring the voice of the customer to Product.
- Represent Mongoose: Attend industry events and trade shows, travel as needed, and be the face of Mongoose for your accounts.
- Renewal & Expansion Success: Proven track record of exceeding renewal and expansion quotas in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Relationship Builder: Natural at connecting with people, building trust, and communicating complex ideas simply.
- Proactive Problem Solver: Anticipate challenges and provide solutions before issues arise.
- Data‑Driven Decision Maker: Use data to uncover opportunities, address challenges, and shape client strategy.
- Collaborative Partner: Work hand‑in‑hand with Marketing, Product, and Client Success to deliver exceptional results.
- Higher Ed Experience (Plus):
** Experience working with higher education institutions is a big plus, but not required.

CompensationBase salary: $70,000
Variable: $75,000 (OTEn $145,000)
Fully remote. Working hours in West or Central Time zone (PST or CST).
