This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Sales Account Manager, based in Schaumburg, IL, with opportunities for some remote work (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH). The individual in this role will be responsible for managing and expanding customer accounts, fostering lasting relationships, generating leads, and working to meet or exceed sales targets. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining excellent customer satisfaction, developing and executing strategic account plans, conducting market analysis to identify growth opportunities, and collaborating closely with internal teams.
The role also involves actively communicating with existing and prospective customers to ensure their needs are fully understood and addressed.
- Strong skills in Customer Satisfaction, Customer Service, and nurturing positive client relationships
- Experience in sales, Account Management and strategic account planning
- Expertise in Lead Generation and market analysis to identify new business opportunities
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with teams, partners, and customers
- Proven sales experience and a results-driven approach
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment with time spent both onsite and remotely
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Experience with in the automotive, EV, or industrial fluid/lubricants industries is a plus
