Heart Challenge is designed to support healthier employees who are empowered through community impact and inspired through purpose. This is a fast-paced, relationship-driven fundraising and sales position where you’ll inspire individuals and corporate teams to join Heart Challenge, raise critical funds for lifesaving research, and increase CPR education and training.
In this hybrid position, the work is wherever it is most effective – in the field, at home, and in our Tempe office.
We have a fast-paced sales type of environment with the main responsibility of driving revenue in support of our mission. We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers.

Responsibilities- Lead fundraising strategies to achieve revenue goals through exceptional engagement, stewardship, and management of volunteers and donors.
- Recruit, train, and coach participants to maximize their experience and fundraising success.
- Build strong partnerships internally and externally to expand our reach and impact.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, including planning and goal‑setting meetings to set individuals and teams up for success.
- Manage accounts and data using CRM systems and Microsoft tools, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Handle high‑volume account management, engaging company teams and participants in person, online, and by phone.
- 3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or other related experience including recruitment, engagement, and stewardship of sustained relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire passionate commitment and enthusiastic support to achieve shared goals.
- Ability and willingness to travel within the market on a daily basis; requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis.
- University/College degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work productively and efficiently from a home office and in the field consistent with the Association's flexible work arrangements policy, organizational and volunteer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and communicate proactively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, "we can do this" environment.
- This position demands extensive data management, requiring the continuous updating of account information within our CRM databases (e.g. Salesforce); proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to efficiently manage and report on data using CRMs are essential.
