Location: Remote (with 50%+ travel required within the Midwest and the domestic United States). Preferred home base of Iowa or a neighboring state.

Position SummaryAs a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our US sales team, with a focus on the Midwest territory. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and remote work, paired with close collaboration with our small but agile team.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Engagement: Present and demonstrate our innovative products to prospective customers, tailoring presentations to their specific needs.
- Lead Generation Support: Partner with the marketing team to strategize and execute lead generation activities.
- Solution Analysis: Assess project requirements and provide tailored solutions that best fit our customers' needs.
- Product Feedback: Collaborate with internal engineers to relay customer feedback and suggest product enhancements.
- Team
Collaboration:
Work closely with a dynamic, cross-functional team to meet company goals, adapting to various tasks as needed.
- Remote Work
Skills:
Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting while maintaining strong communication with a dispersed team. - Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Travel Willingness: Comfortable with travel within the Midwest territory and domestically (30-50%).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for remote collaboration and customer interaction.
- Educational Background: BS/BA in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Industry
Experience:
Previous experience in the life sciences industry and/or with laboratory automation systems is a plus.
