Flame Health is supporting an exciting 12-month maternity cover opportunity for a Business Development Manager / Account Manager covering Surrey & Hampshire. This role is perfect for an experienced sales professional who is confident managing a large geographical territory, building strong business relationships, and driving measurable sales growth.

    Optical Business Development Manager – 12 Month Maternity Cover
  • Location:

    Surrey & Hampshire, UK (Field-based with 0.5 day remote working)
  • Employment Type:

    Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract
  • Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum + £10,000 potential bonus
  • Working Pattern:
    Monday – Friday, 08:30–16:30, extensive travel across territory

Candidate Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in sales or account management
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and objectives
  • Excellent relationship-building, listening, and coaching skills
  • Ability to work independently across a large geographical territory
  • Confident communicator able to influence at all levels of management
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
