Job Summary
We have a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to join an established Travel Company. The role is remote based with monthly visits to the London office and will manage key accounts in the UK and beyond.
The Job- Develop our image as a reliable and upmarket Tour Operator
- Contribute towards selecting and developing high potential agencies in the assigned area
- Define clear objectives, provide clear reporting, monitor results and set up an adapted action plan to reach targets
- Ensure and facilitate sales fluidity and quality of customer service by following and managing agency requests and feedback when applicable
- Follow up all high‑value bookings in the area
- Represent our image in a professional and high‑quality manner, listening to partners and doing everything reasonable to help serve and develop the business
- Update all visits and actions in Salesforce on a weekly basis
- Promote, train and accompany the selected agencies on our Travel Agent Portal
- Ensure that the agencies’ data/network changes are updated in the internal tool
- Work with e‑distribution teams internally and externally to coordinate and resolve issues within the supply chain that affect our product appearing on desired Online Travel Agency websites
- Promote and animate our Program
- Set up, with Marketing, a clear communication plan to maximise impact
- At least 5 years’ experience in trade partnerships
- Client‑oriented, analytical, authoritative, planning, organised, negotiation skills
- Technical skills:
Microsoft Applications (incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Docs, and willingness to learn internal systems such as Salesforce and the booking engine - Education:
Degree in tourism industry and/or business - Experience in the tourism industry or proven success in developing partnerships and brand‑relevant partners, with a track record of managing sales forecasts & budgets
- Salary £36,000 – £38,000 + bonus
- Monthly commission based on business volume sold (possibility to earn up to 30% of yearly salary)
- 25 days annual leave, increasing by one day after 1 year of service (to a max of 30 days)
