What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Drive growth across customer accounts, focusing on developing new OEM and machine builder relationships
  • Collaborate with distributor teams and internal stakeholders to execute strategic sales initiatives
  • Influence purchasing decisions and meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume
  • Educate customers on the value of the employer's products and guide them to customized solutions
  • Regularly report market conditions and represent the employer at trade shows and events
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • BA/BS in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • Minimum of 3 years of outside technical sales experience, preferably in motion control with motors, drives, and controls
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge of the employer's product portfolio
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Proven experience in territory management and executing disciplined selling processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in the industrial automation sector, particularly with motion control systems
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales funnel management
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Background in building and maintaining professional relationships with OEMs and distributors
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt sales strategies based on customer dynamics and market trends
