What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Establish consultative partnerships with distributors, brokers, agents, and enrollment firms to drive sales growth
  • Stay informed on healthcare trends, market intelligence, and product information for voluntary benefits
  • Manage target account lists and pipeline management reports to track sales progress
  • Follow a comprehensive sales process, including marketing programs and customer needs analysis meetings
  • Collaborate with both external and internal stakeholders throughout the sales process
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience
  • At least 2 years of experience with voluntary or ancillary benefits
  • 1 year of experience generating and analyzing sales reports for enhanced customer experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Salesforce for sales management
  • Must be a licensed agent for Life & Health in your resident state and reside in assigned territory (IL)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Consultative sales experience with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proven interpersonal effectiveness and ability to resolve complex issues and promote teamwork
