What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Drive growth across customer accounts in the Mid-Atlantic region, focusing on new OEM and machine builder relationships
  • Collaborate with distributor teams to pursue end customer business and influence purchasing decisions
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
  • Develop and maintain a Key Account Management Plan (KAMP) for strategically important accounts
  • Provide technical expertise and educate customers on the value of the employer's products
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • BA/BS in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; experience may substitute for education
  • Minimum of 3+ years of outside technical sales experience, preferably in motion control with motors, drives, and controls
  • Strong mechanical aptitude andાવેtion in the knowledge and application of the employer's products
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Proven track record in disciplined selling processes and account management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in the industrial manufacturing sector, specifically with OEMs and machine builders
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence diverse customer profiles
  • Familiarity with CRM systems for opportunity management
  • Experience in collaborative selling environments
  • Knowledge of market conditions and competitor trends in relevant industry segments
