• Drive sales with new customers and strengthen existing revenues in the public records and investigative content market
• Navigate complex sales cycles and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders within state agencies
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve consistent quota attainment
• Translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical government officials
• Travel to customer locations approximately 70% of the time, including up to 40% overnight travel

• Minimum of 4–5 years of direct field sales experience, preferably in government markets
• Proven track record of sales quota over achievement
• 4‑year college degree or equivalent experience
• Reside within the designated sales territory (OH, MI, PA)
• Ability to work from a home office

• Experience with state procurement processes and government contracting requirements
• Familiarity with state funding mechanisms and regulations (CJIS, HIPAA, FedRAMP)
• Knowledge of state MSA terms and contract vehicles
• Proven experience with strategic networking in government associations and conferences
