What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Drive sales with new customers and grow existing revenues within state government markets
  • Navigate complex, long-cycle enterprise deals and manage RFX processes
  • Build relationships with government officials and systems integrators
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurately forecast in complex sales cycles
  • Translate technical capabilities to non-technical stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of direct field sales experience, preferably in government markets
  • Proven track record of sales quota over achievement
  • Reside within the designated sales territory
  • 4‑year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel to customer locations 70% of the time, including up to 40% overnight travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in navigating state procurement processes and government contracting
  • Familiarity with state regulations and funding mechanisms
