What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Drive growth across all customer accounts in the Mid-Atlantic region, focusing on developing new OEM and machine builder relationships
  • Collaborate with internal teams and distributors to influence purchasing decisions and meet sales targets
  • Execute disciplined selling processes including account planning and opportunity management
  • Educate customers on the value of products and guide them to customized solutions
  • Regularly report market conditions and represent the company at trade shows and events
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • BA/BS in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of outside technical sales experience, preferably in motion control
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and product knowledge related to motors, drives, and controls
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in the automation and motion control industry
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales funnel management
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on ROI-based solution selling
  • Previous experience working with OEMs and distributors
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to technical and executive audiences
