As the Account Manager – Hard Goods for Primeline, an S&S Activewear company, you will drive growth, strengthen customer relationships and expand Primeline’s presence across key accounts. This role is central to supporting our hard goods product category and ensuring customers receive exceptional service, strategic guidance and timely solutions. You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, decoration and operations teams to uncover opportunities, support customer programs and help deliver on S&S Activewear’s commitment to quality, service and innovation.
This is a Monday‑Friday, full‑time, exempt position, fully remote, with a starting salary of $75,000+ depending on experience.
- Build strong relationships with sales, customer service, merchandising reps and all relevant account stakeholders (finance, marketing, operations, production).
- Understand end‑user needs, buying patterns and customer go‑to‑market strategies.
- Plan annual customer contact goals by account and maintain a 30‑day calendar in Net Suite.
- Collaborate with marketing to create programs and materials that drive Hard Goods sales (e.g., website training, flyers, promotions, incentives, events).
- Conduct one‑on‑one meetings with sales reps to uncover opportunities.
- Present new product launches and develop sales plans.
- Use internal resources (marketing, decoration, EDI, pricing, credit, website, custom sites) to uncover and close opportunities.
- Work closely with inside and outside sales partners to achieve company sales goals.
- Partner with the decoration team to educate customers and ensure smooth order flow.
- Manage weekly reporting, 30‑day calendar updates, sales funnel activity, program registration/renewal, DNR management, CRM reporting and proposal tracking.
- Meet all deadlines for administrative tasks.
- Maintain Primeline’s presence within accounts, including showroom upkeep and collateral management.
- Attend trade shows, industry events and customer events as needed.
- 3–5 years of experience in account management, sales or customer‑facing roles (preferably in promotional products, wholesale or B2B distribution).
- Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional partners.
- Excellent communication, presentation and customer engagement skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and administrative tasks with accuracy.
- Experience using CRM systems (Net Suite preferred) for planning, reporting and pipeline management.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities and drive solutions.
- Ability to travel for customer visits, trade shows and industry events.
- Experience in Hard Goods, promotional products or imprintable apparel distribution.
- Familiarity with decoration processes, EDI, pricing structures and sales enablement tools.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
