As a Channel Sales Manager
, you will develop new and maintain/build existing relationships with Channel Partners, interacting with internal Metronet support teams to enable partners to distribute Metronet services effectively. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the telecommunication landscape to navigate both complex business relationships and technical requirements of service provider solution offerings.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- New Channel Partner Acquisition:
Identify Channel Partner candidates, develop relationships through cold calling, and other prospecting methods. - Partner Training:
Convey Metronet’s Value Proposition;
Review Product, Pricing and Procedures;
Demonstrate Metronet’s on-line tools and resources;
Support and manage the efforts of external agents involved in the sale of Metronet services - Develop strong relationships with our current channel partners to bring added awareness to the Metronet brand
- Provide proposals and presentations, assist agents in managing their customers and prospects
- Coordinate regular outreach to current agent base to promote training programs
- Document lessons learned and implement new best practices
- Other job-related duties as requested
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year College, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Candidate will be highly motivated, organized, and self-driven with a minimum of 3-5 years of indirect telecom sales experience
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Willingness to work as a team and independently.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are essential
- Ability to travel as needed to support territory
- Ability to meet and exceed sales quota and sales goals
- Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills
