After strong traction across Europe, the UK, and North America, we're expanding our global operations - and we're looking for a talented Sales & Customer Success Executive based in South Africa to drive new business, convert leads into paying subscribers, and ensure clients achieve lasting success on the platform.

Role Overview :
Sales + Customer Success Executive

We're looking for a driven, versatile, and relationship-focused professional to own the full customer lifecycle - from converting leads into paying subscribers through to ensuring long-term retention and growth.

In this hybrid role, you'll manage the complete journey: qualifying and closing new business, onboarding clients onto the platform, guiding them through their first paid talent engagement, and building lasting relationships that drive renewals, upsells, and referrals. You'll work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Leadership to maximise both acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities Sales & New Business
  • Own the sales pipeline - qualify leads, conduct discovery calls, deliver demos, and close subscription deals with brands, agencies, and marketing teams.
  • Convert free trial users and marketing-qualified leads into paid subscribers through proactive outreach and value-driven conversations.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to generate new opportunities, including targeted outreach to key accounts.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that articulate platform value, ROI, and differentiation.
  • Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for new subscriber acquisition.
Customer Success & Retention
  • Lead onboarding and activation - guide new clients through platform setup, best practices, and their first paid talent opportunity.
  • Manage ongoing client relationships - ensure every brand, agency, or athlete receives exceptional support and achieves measurable results.
  • Monitor campaign performance and engagement metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to maximise client ROI.
  • Drive renewals, upgrades, and expansion revenue within your client portfolio.
  • Act as the client's voice internally - feed insights to product and leadership teams to improve platform features and processes.
  • Support athlete relationship management, ensuring talent delivers high-quality collaborations and meets campaign objectives.
General
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts, and client health reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and operations to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about sports marketing trends, competitor offerings, and emerging partnership opportunities in target markets.
Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years' experience in a client-facing commercial role – sales, account management, customer success, or business development (preferably in SaaS, marketing technology, or digital platforms).
  • Proven ability to both win new business and retain/grow existing client relationships.
  • Strong closing skills with the ability to navigate objections and drive deals to completion.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – confident on calls, demos, and client meetings.
