Key Account Manager (Ipswich, Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Bishop's, Stortford area)

RS invites experienced and ambitious sales professionals to join our dynamic Key Account Manager team. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, combining field visits to customer sites and office work with remote work as needed.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers throughout Suffolk and surrounding areas. Your responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and targeting revenue potential within your portfolio.
  • Producing robust business plans that exceed sales and profit targets.
  • Building a detailed understanding of customers, markets, and competitors.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including account managers, to support sales targets.

Required skills and experience:

  • Field‑based sales experience with account management responsibilities and a track record of meeting KPIs and targets.
  • Solution‑led approach and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent relationship‑building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM or other B2B systems is a bonus.
  • Valid driving licence.
