Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid position for a Business Development Rep with a track to become a Sales Representative. Based in Simi Valley, CA, with some work-from-home flexibility for the right candidate. The BDR will engage with new potential clients to discover and understand their needs, which will allow the senior rep to provide tailored office and IT product solutions, and build strong relationships.
Daily responsibilities include prospecting potential customers, maintaining an organized pipeline, managing communications, ans eventually closing sales, all while meeting performance goals. Collaboration with team members and delivering excellent customer service are essential to this role.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in sales, client relationship management, or a related field is a plus, but not required
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions
- Familiarity with IT products, data management software, office supplies, or similar products
- Proficiency in CRM tools and basic computer software
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team
- Prior experience in hybrid work environments is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in Sales, Business, or related field is a plus
