Overview

At NIQ, we deliver the most complete and clear understanding of consumer buying behavior that reveals new pathways to growth. The Retail Analytics team works face‑to‑face with the largest retail players, using NIQ solutions to answer questions such as: what is the right assortment to carry and how to optimize pricing & promotional strategies. We are looking to add a Client Manager to support merchandise analytics solutions & services in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Responsibilities
  • Become familiar with NIQ Retail Analytics database content, processes, and frontend applications, ensuring data quality in collaboration with the backend data delivery team.
  • Train retailers on how to use NIQ data and dashboard solutions to execute pricing, promotion and assortment decisions.
  • Lead client teams through designing, selling, executing and presenting analytic studies to meet client research objectives.
  • Penetrate and establish enduring client relationships with senior decision makers, demonstrating ongoing value by driving client outcomes.
  • Deliver proactive insights and action‑oriented solutions to clients.
  • Grow and develop with a team responsible for delivering against client commitments.
  • Be accountable for driving account renewals and overall portfolio value to meet revenue goals.
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate across NIQ teams and uncover sales opportunities with clients.
Qualifications
  • 4–8 years of experience in Retail/CPG/Manufacturing industry or Price/Promo Optimization.
  • Experience with a price or promo optimization tool or pricing/promo experience with a retailer.
  • Strong background in client management and project management skills with demonstrated ability to maintain positive client relationships in complex situations and resolve client issues.
  • Demonstrated mastery in data analysis along with “story‑telling” abilities.
  • Highly proficient in a variety of software solutions and digital technologies, including Microsoft applications (Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, logic, deductive reasoning, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Polished communicator, including group presentations and proposal writing.
  • Ability to sell NIQ solutions that help clients meet strategic goals.
  • Collaborative mindset with internal & external teams.
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
