About the Role

Business Development Executive

Permanent, Full-time

Tuas Avenue, Singapore - Hybrid working

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to join our team in Singapore. This hybrid role combines the flexibility of remote work with the benefits of collaborating in our modern office environment. As part of our inside sales function, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by engaging with potential and existing customers through email, telephone calls, and live website chats.

Your focus will be on understanding client needs, presenting tailored solutions, and building strong relationships that lead to successful outcomes.

In this position, you will be responsible for generating qualified leads, creating accurate and competitive quotes, and managing the end‑to‑end process of purchase orders. You will maintain a well‑organized sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow‑ups and effective communication throughout the customer journey. Collaboration with internal teams will be key to delivering exceptional service and meeting client expectations.

What you’ll be doing
  • Prepare quotations.
  • Understand customers’ needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Answer potential customers’ questions and send additional information via email.
  • Keep up with product and service information and updates.
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow‑up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development.
  • Close sales and work towards quarterly quotas.
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline.
What we’re looking for Essential:
  • Be personally energetic, dynamic, positive, enthusiastic and have a natural business acumen.
  • Have a natural ability to build rapport both internally and externally and confidence to sell the full scope of supply of the company, including face‑to‑face stakeholder meetings.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
  • Operational and logistical focus.
  • Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of Marine, offshore oil and gas market is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and adapt to changing situations.
Nice to have:
  • Proven inside sales experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
