Position: Account Executive II (RapidScale) - Midwest

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop new business pipeline through direct sales execution and outbound prospecting
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while managing a robust sales funnel
  • Build and maintain relationships within cloud ecosystems to foster new business opportunities
  • Drive cloud and professional services sales through various channels including direct and indirect partners
  • Utilize Salesforce for tracking prospects and managing opportunities to improve forecasting and strategy
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of sales experience, or a Master’s degree and 4 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience, or 10 years of relevant experience without a degree
  • Proven success in building a sales pipeline through outbound activity and closing complex IT or cloud deals
  • Experience in selling IT, cloud, or managed services solutions to decision-makers at various levels
  • Familiarity with both indirect and direct sales organizations
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time for customer meetings and industry events
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience leveraging AWS and/or GCP partner programs for business development
  • Industry expertise in Healthcare, Financial Services, SaaS, or E-Commerce
