Location: Québec City

Our client is a leading company in the industrial solutions sector. They are seeking a full-time Field Sales Engineer to manage and grow a portfolio of B2B customers within a defined territory in Quebec City, Quebec.

This is a field-based sales role focused on driving business growth, building strong customer relationships, and delivering consultative technical solutions through on-site visits. The position requires working from a home office, some time spent in the company office, and spending most of the time on the road visiting customers.

Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of industrial customers within the Quebec City region, with a strong focus on relationship-building, business development, and account growth.
  • Conducting regular on-site customer visits face-to-face to uncover new opportunities and promote solutions that deliver superior value.
  • Using a consultative selling approach to identify customer needs and propose technical solutions that improve efficiency and sustainability.
  • Developing and executing territory, account, and call plans aligned with business development objectives.
  • Managing the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and opportunity pipeline data.
  • Collaborating with internal teams (Projects, Technical, Service, Business Development) to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations and reports to customers.
  • Ensuring compliance with company values, safety standards, and legal requirements.
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience in a technical or commercial role.
  • Recognized technical or business qualification, or equivalent experience in a similar industry. Engineering degree or diploma preferred.
  • French and English bilingualism required.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to manage customer portfolios.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently from a home office and travel extensively within the territory.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
