Business Development Manager – Logistics / Transport / Freight Forwarding
£40,000 Basic + BMW Company Car + Quarterly Bonus (8% of Annual Salary)

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager with experience in logistics, transport, or freight forwarding to join our team.
The RoleThis is a fully field-based, new business focused position with no set territories. You will manage your own diary, work from home, and spend the majority of your week out meeting prospective customers.
Your Responsibilities- Generate new business through cold calling, networking, and self‑sourced leads
- Book and attend client meetings
- Identify, pitch, and secure full and part-load opportunities
- Develop long‑term customer relationships and manage existing accounts
- Accurately update activity and pipeline through the CRM system
- Travel regularly across the UK and occasionally to Europe as required
- Work from home when not on visits (WFH)
- Proven background in logistics, transport, or freight forwarding
- Strong hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business
- Ability to build rapport quickly and present confidently to clients
- Self‑motivated, organised, and able to manage your own schedule
- Full UK driving licence
- £40,000 per annum basic salary
- BMW company car
- Quarterly bonus (8% of your annual salary, paid quarterly)
