Inside Sales Representative East- Genomics

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, is hiring an Inside Sales Representative – East‑Genomics to promote our comprehensive portfolio of products, including custom oligonucleotide solutions for key application areas such as qPCR, CRISPR, Functional Genomics, Synthetic Biology, and Next Generation Sequencing.

The role is part of the IDT Sales organization covering the Northeast region and can be performed remotely. The Inside Sales Representative will proactively launch customer solutions, manage accounts, and achieve profit and revenue growth while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

• Develop and manage assigned accounts strategically to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth by understanding both short‑term and long‑term needs/​goals.
• Prospect for new leads, prepare information for outgoing sales calls, and secure new customers.
• Demonstrate effective selling skills and product understanding to uncover customer needs and position appropriate solutions.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key customers, leveraging internal resources to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Build in‑depth knowledge of CRM and funnel‑management tools, consistently forecasting business, managing customer opportunities, building an opportunity pipeline, and making business decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree in a life‑science related discipline, business degree with relevant life‑science industry experience, or master’s degree in a life‑science field.
• One or more years of previous experience in the life‑science market, preferably in a customer‑oriented and/or sales role.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including quarterly customer visits.

• Experience with popular CRMs, such as Salesforce.
• Hands‑on laboratory experience in molecular biology (NGS, CRISPR, PCR, Synthetic Biology) or a similar field.

The salary range for this role is $60,000 – $65,000 per year, plus eligible bonus/incentive pay. IDT offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k) and other employee benefits.
