Sales Engineer, Business Development
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sales Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving technical sales and fostering strong client relationships within the HVAC and construction industry. Your efforts will directly influence the company's presence in one of the most dynamic markets in the Middle East, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of projects across various stakeholders.
This position requires not only technical knowledge but also a proactive approach to sales, ensuring the effective delivery of solutions tailored to client needs.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive sales proposals, quotations, and technical submittals, ensuring alignment with project specifications and drawings
- Present solutions to clients and educate them on the advantages of our products
- Collaborate with distributors and contractors to secure product approvals from consultants and clients on ongoing projects
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market intelligence and site visits to consultants and HVAC contractors
- Coordinate with EPCs, general contractors, and insulation contractors for bidding requirements
- Provide technical support and arrange application training for distributors and clients, with assistance from our technical team
- Maintain accurate project records, submit daily visit reports via SFDC, and deliver monthly sales and rolling forecasts
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and resolve customer complaints effectively
- Technical degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or construction materials; experience with insulation or firestop products is a plus
- Proven success in technical sales within the Middle East; exposure to Africa markets is an advantage
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with consultants, contractors, and client representatives
- Ability to analyse market trends and develop competitive strategies
- Proficient in Salesforce CRM or similar tools for managing leads and reporting
- Self-driven, able to work independently, and manage multiple priorities; valid driving license required
- Fluency in English;
