Taldeco is hiring a Sales Engineering Director for a Food Equipment Manufacturer. The role involves technical engineering, sales, and client liaison duties, managing a sales team while supporting the southern US region.

Role Description

This full‑time remote position specializes in Food Equipment design, development, and commissioning at client sites. You will sell products and serve as the technical expert to clients in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a sales team across the southern US region.
• Engage clients in the food industry to understand their technical needs and propose suitable equipment solutions.
• Oversee design, development, and commissioning of food equipment at client sites.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Technical engineering background.
• Experience in food equipment manufacturing.
• Strong sales and sales operations skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent customer service and client relationship skills.
• Team management, mentoring, and leadership experience.
• Business development aptitude and growth‑driving capability.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating across teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Food equipment industry experience is highly recommended.
